Cleveland’s Christmas Story House

Cleveland’s Christmas Story House is the perfect Ohio activity during the holiday season. Located at 3159 W 11th St. Cleveland, OH 44109.

Set during a 1940’s Christmas season, nine-year-old Ralphie, part of a semi-dysfunctional family, covets a 200-Shot, Range-Model Air Rifle. But when dad, mom, and Santa all warn, “You’ll shoot your eye out!” Ralphie does his best to get his dream present any way he can!

Classic scenes include Ralphie being Triple-Dog-Dared to stick his tongue onto a frozen lamp post, and Ralphie’s Dad winning the “Major Award” of the (now iconic) lamp in the shape of a woman’s leg. Yikes!

Come, relive the fun in this hands-on experience.

We got to touch and interact inside each room as seen in the photos. It is Ralph’s actual house that was used in the film. There is also a museum across the street included in your admission. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, I recommend watching it before you visit. Many of the younger generations may not have seen it yet. That needs to be remedied right away!

The house and museum are open every day from 10-5 PM all year.

But in December, the museum opens late! Check here for the schedule. Tickets and admission: General Admission: $15 Seniors (60+): $14 Children (3-12 years): $11 Children under 3 are free. Military (active duty and retired) 20% off. There are two free parking lots and free street parking on the street.

If you are really ambitious you can even stay overnight inside the house! Reserve here or email stay@achristmasstoryhouse.com.

I hope you enjoy your visit to Cleveland’s Christmas Story House!
