Findlay Market in Cincinnati, Ohio

Address: 1801 Race St, Cincinnati, OH 45202

Findlay Market is Ohio’s oldest continuously operated public market since 1855. It is here you will find local and authentic food items. We brought home several treasures and ate at one of its staples….well sort of. First, the hunt for treasure.

We ended up with some delicious red velvet waffles from Taste of Belgium (almost like a brownie that you heat at home), some local chips from Hen of the Woods (the buttermilk and chives are the best), and some amazing garlic pita chips and humuus from Dean’s Mediterranean. Last but not least, we purchased a pecan pie from a vendor I forgot to check the name, but my husband couldn’t resist! Before heading home with these treasures, we stopped in to eat dinner at the acclaimed Eli’s BBQ at Findlay Market. However, there was no seating at this location and we were cold and tired, so we opted to drive over to their other location on Riverside Dr. where we could sit and eat.

We adopted a nice dining companion which was this cat who was feeling very fine inside the warm tent laying out on one of the tables. I ordered the turkey sandwich and Mike ordered the ribs and both were delicious!
